Attention to Visual Motion fMRI data set

This dataset was collected by Christian Buchel and is described in the paper:

Buchel, C and K. Friston (1997). Modulation of Connectivity in Visual Pathways
by Attention: Cortical Interactions Evaluated with Structural Equation
Modelling and fMRI, Cerebral Cortex, December, 7, pp 768-778.

The archive contains the smoothed, spatially normalised, realigned, slice-time corrected images in the directory 'functional'. The directory 'structural' contains a spatially normalised structural image. All processing took place using SPM96. See above paper for further details.

Psycho-Physiologic Interaction

Descriptions of how to do General Linear Model (GLM) and Psycho-Physiologic Interaction (PPI) analyses are available in the SPM manual:

Overview of the dataset, and step-by-step description of analysis using PPI:
SPM12: manual.pdf
SPM8: manual.pdf
PPI SPM batch script:
SPM12: ppi_spm12_batch.m
SPM5/8: ppi_spm5_batch.m

An earlier version of the tutorial for SPM2 is available in README_GLM_PPI.txt (Note that you should then use the DCM archive). The dataset in Analyze file format is available in the archive attention_analyze.zip (79MB). The files obtained during the analysis can be obtained from downloading the archive glm_ppi_analysis.zip.

Dynamic Causal Modelling

Descriptions of how to do General Linear Model (GLM) and Dynamic Causal Modelling (DCM) analyses are available in the SPM manual:

Overview of the dataset, and step-by-step description of analysis using DCM:
SPM12: manual.pdf
SPM8: manual.pdf
DCM SPM batch script:
SPM12: dcm_spm12_batch.m
SPM8: dcm_spm8_batch.m

An earlier version of the tutorial for SPM2 is available in README_GLM_DCM.txt. The dataset in Analyze file format is available in the archive attention_analyze.zip (79MB). The files obtained during the analysis can be obtained from downloading the archive glm_dcm_analysis.zip.
