Volunteering for Brain Scans

We are looking for volunteers 18yrs and over to take part in an exciting Brain Research Programme. We study human brain function non-invasively using fMRI. These techniques enable us to image what is going on in your brain while you perform various tasks.

Although we're not allowed to pay you for your time, you may receive compensation for any inconvenience caused based on the nature of the study, your travel expense will be covered, you will receive a high resolution structural MR image of your brain, a mug and the knowledge that you have helped contribute to scientific research.

Please note that we cannot scan volunteers with known neurological disorders or those who are on long-term medication

How to Volunteer

By Phone: - Ring Reception on 020 3448 4362. Your details will be taken and entered into our volunteers pool. A researcher will then contact you to talk with you about their research and arrange a scanning date should you wish to participate.

By Email: - Email reception giving your full name and a daytime telephone number. A researcher will then contact you to talk with you about their research and arrange a scanning date should you wish to participate.
