SPM Installation

Installation types

SPM can be installed in several ways. The recommended installation is within MATLAB. We also offer alternative installation modes that do not require a MATLAB license, including Octave and a precompiled Standalone SPM. Use the menu on the left to learn more about each option.

Operating systems

SPM works on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Versions

We recommend you use the latest version of SPM.

Older versions that are no longer supported are available in dedicated repositories:

• SPM12 - released in 2012.

• SPM8 - released in 2005.

• SPM5 - released in 2003.

• SPM99 - released in 2000.
