Carlton Chu's page is under construction

Chia-Yueh Carlton CHUm,me, was born in Taiwan, and later immigrated to New Zealand at age of 16. My undergraduate degree was Computer System Engineering in Auckland University, New Zealand, then I finished my Master of Biomedical Engineering in University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. I also worked as part time research assistant in Neuropsychiatric centre in Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney for half year before starting his PhD in The Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging, University College London 2005. My research interests lie in the fields of machine learning and structural image analysis. My primary supervisor is Dr. John Ashburner. Together they currently collaborate with clinical neurologists and try to apply machine learning methods (mainly kernel methods) on classifying neurological diseases. (Alzheimer's Disease, Huntington's Disease...)
