The group all enjoy public engagement activities, and see this as an important component of a scientific career. Most of our public engagement activities are opportunistic, through press releases about important new discoveries, but some of us also engage in more structured forms of activity. We can't do as much of this as we would like, because the primary determinant of scientific funding is the accrual of discoveries and publications, but we nevertheless see it as a priority. |

The work of the group has repeatedly received favourable comment on TV, radio and print media and members of the group are all available for comment on their work. |
