Public Engagement

The great brain experiment - A Wellcome Trust funded smartphone app, developed at University College London with White Bat Games, allowing the general public to take part in a large-scale psychology/neuroscience experiment via eight different experimental ‘games’. Available for Android and iOS devices; downloaded by >100,000 users, contributing >500,000 unique datasets. I contributed and developed one of the eight games.

code

  1. eyeblink correction tutorial (~400MB) - an SPM8-based tutorial on eyeblink correction, using PCA of a ‘standard’ eyeblink topography. This may have the advantage over ICA-based approaches, in that it uses a known eyeblink topography for correction, rather than trying to estimate a blink topography from the data. May need a little modification for SPM12, and geared towards Elekta Neuromag data - but can be easily adapted for any data format. Available for download here

  2. Please contact me directly for copies of experimental programs from my previous publications.
