Welcome to Methods for Dummies!
Methods for Dummies (MfD) is a course taught by its participants, offering a basic introduction to human brain imaging analysis methods, focusing on fMRI and M/EEG.
Meetings are held on Wednesday afternoons from 13:00 - 14:00 in the boardroom at the FIL (1st floor, 12 Queen Square) and on MS Teams.
Why should I sign up?
The MfD course is an opportunity to learn from and with your peers about analysis methods used and developed at the FIL.
The course is led by participants, so if you're willing to commit to giving a lecture, you’ll gain a solid foundation in various methods, explore topics in-depth, and receive answers to practical questions.
What does it involve?
You'll give a ~20-minute presentation with a partner on a method of your choice. There's an expert assigned to help you prepare, and you're not expected to be an expert at the start. It's all about learning together in a friendly and informal setting!
