Centre Celebrates 25 years at 12 Queen Square

The Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging celebrates 25 years at 12 Queen Square with a reunion of founding members and opening of new 7T MRI scanner and OPM laboratories.

 

On Friday 31st January 2020 the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging at University College London celebrated 25 years at 12 Queen Square and the official launch of the new 7T  MRI and OPM laboratories.

Past directors and founding members of the centre celebrated with current members during an afternoon of story sharing and excitement for future directions. The event welcomed speeches from current Director Professor Cathy Price, her predecessor and colleague Professor Ray Dolan and founding Director Richard Frackowiak. These speeches outlined the making of the FIL, the trials and tribulations of it’s conception, and the stories and successes of the years since it opened.
