Blog: Embedding a culture of public engagement

Since 2018, the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging have been running a long-term culture change study on the attitudes and perceptions of staff towards public engagement. In 2020, the study found that the culture of public engagement remains strong and is something the Centre and the public engagement team should be truly proud of.

Dr Tobias Hauser awarded FENS-Kavli Scholarship for scientific excellence, originality, and leadership in neuroscience

Dr Tobias Hauser, Principal Investigator of the Developmental Computational Psychiatry team at the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging, has been selected as a 2021 Scholar of the FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence. He will work alongside other early-career investigators to improve and promote neuroscience research across Europe.

Dr Quentin Huys awarded Wellcome Investigator Award to study how maladaptive thinking patterns arise and cause emotions.

Dr Quentin Huys, Principal Investigator of the Applied Computations Psychiatry Team at the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging has received a Wellcome Investigator Award funded until 2026 to study the neurobiology of maladaptive thinking patterns in people with depression, and how they increase the risk of relapse.
